Family vacations are fun, sure, but it's good to getaway, just Megan and I. We try to do one of these getaways at least once a year.

In 2008 we got two. We drove out to Grand Junction (Colorado) for the Colorado Wine Festival in August. And in October, I was in Chicago for a hobby trade show, and Megan joined me at the end of the show and we made a long weekend out of it.
